The peace & serenity of this Reserve is only surpassed by the magnificent sunsets. Enjoy the hot outside shower, swimming in the river, bird watching, mountain biking on the farm roads and trails, rock climbing on the surrounding sand stone rock formations and hiking, or just relax in a hammock and enjoy the sounds of nature.

Activities include: Hiking and mountain bike trial, fishing dam or river and canoe hire.

Mountain bikes are for hire on our 8km unspoilt fynbos route which includes Rock formations, farm dams, citrus orchids and rooibos plantations. The 8km hiking trail is highly recommended and truly amazing. It includes mind boggling rock formations, bushmen paintings and scenes of fynbos and sandstone mountains that wrap around you. Fishing can be done either at the one reed dam with its abundance of weaver birds or 13km further up at our camping spot.
