We get allot of feedback from visitors complimenting the abundance of early morning animal life (duiker, porcupine, hares, baboon, tortoise, dassie, and leopard tracks have also been spotted). Birds include a Black Eagle pair, secretary birds, herron, and early morning passage by Egyptian geese.

Each cottage has its own indigenous Fynbos and rock garden - Protea flowers during March April, Aloes during June July, Daisies and succulents during our famous wild flower season and pin cushions that flower during October and November. Our lichen rock fields are also very unique and in abundance.
